Our three rules

1
No lowball rates.Every rate covers the truck's cost to run. Below that: move along, nothing more to see.
2
No backload rates.Every load pays the full rate, whichever way the truck is heading.
3
No altering the plan. The customer sets the pickup date and time. Once the job is allocated it's locked, and everyone works to the same plan: same rate, same load, same pickup and drop times. No unrealistic trip times or expectations.
4
No unacceptable wait times. The clock starts when the truck arrives for its booked pickup. After the free period, the shipper is charged a wait fee until the load is on the truck.
5
No driver phone numbers.Customers don't ask for or get a driver's number. All contact goes through GoFreightHub.

Every job is offered to all matching carriers at once and allocated to one when the offer window closes. $50 flat per load, no percentage. Carriers are paid from escrow within 12 hours of sign-off.

    Carriers

Questions or problems: support@gofreighthub.com. Fee: a flat $50 per load, charged on top of the carrier rate, with no percentage. Wait fees: the clock starts at the later of the truck's arrival and the booked pickup time. Beyond the free period the shipper pays the wait fee, which is added to the carrier's payment. Trip times are checked for drive time at your average speed, load and unload time, and a 30-minute break every 5 hours of driving, as an estimate that doesn't replace fatigue rules. Offers: the page records who each job was offered to. Actually emailing carriers needs the email service connected later. Allocation runs automatically when the window closes, whenever the page is open. Release is automatic: when escrow is funded, the paperwork is in and both keys are turned, the job is released on the spot. Support staff only step in for exceptions. Escrow here is a record of where the money is and who has turned their key. Moving the money itself needs a payment or escrow provider connected later. The carrier view hides shipper rates and broker margin on screen, but it isn't a secure login: anyone the page is shared with can reach the data. Give carriers their own login before opening it to outside carriers. Distances are entered by hand. Figures exclude GST. The markers are a guide to your own costs, not a market rate. Payload limits come from each vehicle's max payload (the B-double figure is its GML limit less the 27.04 t tare from Go Weigh Hub).
